CR Versa Mag Pouches w/ Single Stack mags

As many other folks out there, I have got the CR Versa pouches, but I'm scratching my head as to how to set them up for single stack mags.

On brianenos some folks suggest using the GL/CZ spacer, mounted upside down; this seems to work but a) it feels really tight (can mag tubes be deformed?) and b) it engages at the very bottom.

Some others suggest adding a spacer between the pouch body and the biggest (non-tab) spacer, while others make/buy oversized spacers.

How do you run them? Anything to watch out for?
 
There is a youtube video, search versa pouch single stack, I think it was added by shooters connection.
 
I'd spend the money and get the DAA pouches with the new single stack spacer
 
made my own spacer, left the STI one in the on the other side I have a .5" piece of white nylon( can get it at home depot) held by a screw thru the hole thats allready in the pouch, works perfect
 
I flipped the L shaped insets so the lip the usually sits between the quick adjust knob faces up. That will be just the right thickness for the single stack mags to slide in, then just use the adjustment knob to fine tune your drag on the mags as usual. I will be using CZ mags but when I first got my setup I set it all up for my 1911 and it all fit great. The L shaped inserts are different thicknesses but only where the screw goes, the lip is the same distance for all of them so any one will work.

Yah went the wife watches crap like the Batchlor I just read threw old threads, but I guess he's probably figuered it out by now lol.

Now that were on the topic do you sell the CR Speed CZ spacers on there own? I only got two with my used Versa pouches, Ive had to make spacers that work with the Glock spacers.
