Hi
Could you share your .243 Hornady GMX 80g, 85g Sierra GK HPBT + Varget recipes?
H states that GMX are 'compatible with conventional reload data', not sure what exactly they mean by that but I find it hard to believe.

Why wouldn't they be compatible with conventional reload data?
Just look up an 85 grain bullet, under 243 Winchester loadings, check the type of powder you want to load and load away with the amount of powder shown.

So I expect them to be harder than copper jacket over led bullets. Do you have something practical to share?

This is what you said in your original post.
"-------H states that GMX are 'compatible with conventional reload data',"
By H, I suppose you mean Hodgdon's. I happen to agree with that assessment, so why the snarly remark, "Do you have something practical to share?"

GMX are made by Hornady.

Check out the Hodgdon web site. Pretty cut and dried there, max is 36.3 with the gmx.
Thanks, found it - they must have updated it since I was looking for GMX data

Little off topic, but IMR or H4350 is a dynamite powder with 85 gr GameKings. Start low and find your sweet spot, it will present itself.
Yes, I think I will start even lower like in 32-34gr range...
