Does nyone know any site sponsor that sells chamber flags online. Reliable gun in vncouver usually has them but they are sold out.

If you can recommend anyone pls do.

Thanks

When do you guys use these?

Seems like an unnecessary addition. We simply keep actions open to show clear at my club.

Some ranges require flags the will hold the action open and can be verified at a glance by an RO or other shooters from a distance away. In my experience they are required on military ranges. Not sure if some civilian ranges require them too.

I would suggest making your own. When I did the Appleseed course in the US, the best chamber flags were a zip tie around a piece of rolled up cloth, or surveyors tape. The end of the zip tie goes in the chamber and the cloth sticks out.

bcra matches that are on military ranges require flags. Brownells has the fancy tapco ones everyone has been looking for. I just use the one that came with my m&p15.

They are required at our clubs IPSC rifle Matches.

AND at the indoor range I am a member at as well because I use the CMMG 22 conversion kit for indoor practice which is closed bolt operation.

I can't find a reference to their use in the standing orders for any range we have licensed for our use and I know there is nothing in training safety.
Can you send me towards a reference?
