Does anybody have any experience or first hand knowledge of the 8 shot replacement magazines ,made by Triple K ,for the Gevarm rifles. How do they fit / feed ? any problems? Need one or two , for a "A3".
Would be nice to find an original !

Mine work nearly perfect. Occasionally (once every 4th mag or so) I get a stovepipe. And that's only during a rapid fire mag dump. Normal shooting it never causes a problem.

I got two from Edmonton gun parts. One works perfect the other doesn't load well once in a while. Just need to fit it a little just don't have the time.

Are you talking about one good magazine , or did you buy several and they all preform more or less the same?
Thanks for your relpy !

I have 2 purchased from western gun parts. Niether required any "fitting" and they both work about the same. Very satisfactory for me. If I want rapid fire fun I use one of my 10/22s anyway. I use the Gevarm for upland bird hunting as I k ow it will go bang 100% of the time no matter what. I actually save my duds from my other rumored to shoot in it lol.

Oh the Gevarm action....you have to love it! What an ingenious plan to use no firing pin. I can`t believe no other company led in their footsteps.

ESL? Uh...Followed in their footsteps, you mean?

It HAS a firing pin. It's just that it is a fixed one. These have a bad habit of dumping the whole mag when you use lower powered .22 ammo. They really need the oomph that it takes to cycle the bolt back far enough to reset the bolt to the trigger. If the mung builds up enough to cause drag, same can happen.

All fun, until you are two bays down from the off duty Police dude at the range, eh?

That fixed pin is common on almost every open bolt sub machine gun on the planet. Not new or revolutionary.

I suspect any maker that tried to bring this style to market these days wold run afoul of a great many country's laws relating to how easy it would be too convert to full auto.

Cheers
Trev
