I'm thinking to buy a Kriss Vector .45 NR carbine, I would like to hear some opinions from you guys, why you like it or why you dont...
Most of all i want you guys to tell me what i should watch for when buying one. I found out that there are many revisions/updates that newer models have.
Like upgraded bolt carier group, Trigger control group, Upper and lower receivers, and also if im not mistaking newer models have chrome lined 17mm barrels..

So how do you identify which model you are looking at..? So far i found that the bolt that has "45-A2" stamp is the Latest revision, what about other parts?????

They also say that as long as you own the rifle, you can ship it to Kriss TDI for free upgrades.. but i also heard that at times it can be hard to get hold of these guys..

Lets see if someone knows more about this...

I just sold mine, it had the 45-A1 bolt and was 100% reliable. Only reason I sold it was to pay for a new AR I couldn't live without.
Not sure what to tell you about what to watch for, If it looks like it's in good shape it probably is. There isn't really anything to go wrong in there unless someone does something to the trigger group. It is a very simple and robust operating system and is very unique.
I had no complaints with mine and just didn't shoot it enough to justify keeping it. I'll probably buy the restricted version in the future since I already have quite a few non restricted black rifles I would take out before the Vector.

Buy it and if you decide you don't like it you can probably get your money back out of it on the EE, I've seen some listed pretty cheap lately.

Apparently the FRT is under review, so you might have to wait a while unless it's a private purchase of the non-restricted version.

Is that mean Kriss Vector might be down the road like Swiss Arms?
Prohibited?

Who said it is under review? what has the RCMP said?

CanAm reported (and I can confirm) that the FRTs for the restricted and non-restricted Kriss Super-V's have been pulled. There was mention of some issues regarding the type of magazines they were imported with, but this is really speculation at this point.

Is that mean Kriss Vector might be down the road like Swiss Arms? Prohibited?

The ACR was also under review and ultimately the FRT was reinstated, so it's anyone's guess at this point.

I can think of dozens or BS reasons the RCMP can come up with to ban or stop issuing FRT's, the problem is if they can get away with it???? then we are screwed!

Ok - let's not have any of that talk - re: the Swiss Arms - that's just a little burp in the Force ..... all WILL be well.

Re: the Kriss - I've got the SBR and it's just cool ..... I put a Trijicon SRS (Red Dot) on it and there's nothing more fun.

Hope everything goes well. Because I was planning to get the SA CQB/NR and Kriss Vector SBR/carbin NR in August.
Now, I believe I should start looking some BP muzzle load which it isn't on their review list yet.

Right, looks like our government want us back to Stone Ages. Civilization is going backward as just like our gun law.
