Anybody know where to get decent rail road ties around London/St. Thomas area?

Find a CN rail yard...
Track down the site supervisor...
Ask if you can take some (used) ties...
(They likely have piles of them)

Throw your back out loading them into the bed if your pickup.
(They weigh roughly 300 lbs each)

That's what I did...

I have 5 of them for sale, i paid $35.00 a piece for them, they are in really excellent shape. I'm going to be @ crumlin all afternoon today (saturday 6/8/2013) so if you want to come over and pick up a couple come on over. I also have a contact in Goderich for 5/8 used conveyor belt, leave me a PM and i'll give you the #

if a local rail yard can't help you, find out who hauls the used ones to the incinerator (usually what happens to them). I had 4 loads of them diverted to Abby years ago for free by talking to both the trucking company and the American incinerator.
