I love the way we can not ship ammo by Can Post but it's OK for Canpar to have Can Post deliver it for them

The Ontario CFO has been nice enough to resend the email Transfer Notification (and CC me) in addition to the original one sent on 28th.

What it does say is that we cannot answer every email personally.

I use the auto response when the questions asked is answered in the auto response email. These questions are usually; where is my order or what is my reference number.

Other, more specific questions are answered specifically.

Gosh, I would be happy with an autoresponse. I've sent 3 emails and a fax and have not received at least an acknowledgement. CanAm could you please let me know if you've received the transfer notice for order #3957782?

I had looked for local clubs but they were all booked or big $$, I found huntsville pistol club to be very reasonable/ relaxed atmosphere and open 24/7 via keycode. Its a full hour drive from orillia, but well worth it.

Oh yes I forgot to mention they have cowboy and idpa matches aswell, Im on a list to get my holster course currently so I can participate!
 
Woo-hoo! Just got the email that my transfer was started.
Ordered May 20th, paid by direct transfer May 21st, payment accepted May 30th, transfer initiated June 5.
Things are progressing!
 
Received my pistol and ammo yesterday right on schedule. I finally have my G.I. style 1911!
Pistol was in great condition although the grips are.......interesting? Did not believe it until I saw it.
Grips appear to be made of candy of some sort. Possibly tootsie pop or root beer.

The grip safety spring seems very weak and loose although functional and the magazine catch keeps sticking in the release position. Removal and cleanup seems to have helped a lot. I was surprised at how slight the rifling is. The magazines are tagged with a partial serial # and are numbered 1 and 2. Never saw that before. Range time is this weekend.

I am very happy with this deal so far and am likely to order from Canada Ammo again.
I appreciate the magazine, targets and my restricted pen as well.

recieved my pistol couple days ago after a couple months wait . anyways gun looks great , mag release stiff oiled it and cleaned it , seems a little better,
emailed canada ammo about one of my mags coming detroyed by canada border agensy have not heard nothing as of yet.
 
Well today I received my new hardwood grip panels purchased on eBay. I think it looks much better now. They are darker looking in person and not as red. Not bad for $22 shipped from Thailand.
