I think it is worse than incompetence, I think Toews agrees with the confiscation agenda. When he was first appointed PSM there were a number of gunnutz who said he was on record as being against both handguns and black rifles. His actions so far have done nothing to dispel that. He may be a useless tw@t overall, but I suspect he is an anti-gun useless tw@t.

Anyone who believes that the RCMP moves fast is mistaken , they have been looking into this stuff since at least 2010. The fact one model is being scrutinized for the sole reason that it has a bullpup stock would make me think others BP's might be scrutinised in the future as well. Info is a tool , if you choose to ignore it that is your choice . But as pointed out a few of those firearms on that list have already been put out to pasture as prohibs, believing that more CAN'T or won't be added along the way is idyllic at best and possibly a little naive . Do your part write a few letters and support the organization's standing up for our rights .

Maybe we should first ask if the verifier was employed or affiliated with any of the companies involved... :confused:

I can't believe we're still beating this dead T97 horse. What was imported differed from what was submitted to the RCMP (I won't even get into the thousands of prohibited magazines that accompanied the shipment). And it could be converted to full auto with essentially a paperclip, so if that doesn't meet the definition than I don't know what does. As a direct result of this, the RCMP reviewed and refined their approval guidelines. We brought this mess on ourselves.
 
There is a long list of semi's that look cool, but no different then any semi hunting rifle that the gun grabbers would like to prohibit

It amazes me that the entire system designed by the libs and WC is still operating at 100%. The lgr is just a tiny part of the whole system. Since the govt can simply ban firearms and all there variants through an oic its pretty much coming unless we can get it in law making an oic ban illegal.

Time to start sending emails and letters to the PMO, MP's and Public Safety Minister. There are a number of pre-written letters posted in this site regarding the imminent SAN ruling at the end of this month. Simple as printing, signing and mailing... No stamp required. The more we get out in the next week the better it is for all gun owners. If the SAN's go, it won't be long until they start picking off other evil guns.
 
The current system was deliberately set up this way under C-68 by the Liberals. The ultimate goal is complete civil disarmament. The RCMP is doing their part to advance their own anti-gun institutional ethos one firearm at a time. The current Firearms Act must be repealed. In the short term, the Harper government could put a stop to on-going "examinations" and reclassifciations by simply removing the RCMP from the equation and putting administrative control of the CFP under Public Safety Canada. The RCMP go back to enforcing the law instead of interpreting it, as well as enjoying the near god-like power to write their own rules and regulations and then happily enforce them as if they had the full weight of law
 
Sigh....time to start writing the MP again......#### this is getting old fast man.

I can't stand living in a constant state of fear and paranoia over which piece of my private property is going to be "reclassified" and confiscated without compensation by the State next.

What ####ing country am I living in here!?

One part of me wants to start applying for a green card down South.....

100% agreed. And there's a word for forcing people into a specific situation against their will by giving them a choice between prison or some sort of mere compensation. Its called slavery. Plain and simple.
