Tacticool accessories you wish where cheaper?

+2. F-ing stupid that the piece of black plywood can't be shipped to Canada. Does anybody have one in their possession? Who duplicates stocks for a reasonable price?

You can get them for savage rifles directly from savage. there a bit more pricey though. Some savage rifles come factory with the tacticool. probably the only reason I bought my 93-17 TRR-SR

I've got a Boyd's Tacticool, probably one of the very last ones permitted to be exported from the US. It's a serious piece of kit - turns a stock MkII into a solid, serious rifle.

LumberJack is right - they can be bought direct from Savage, albeit at a higher price. Boyd's actually manufactures all of Savage's TR stocks, among others. The difference is that they're not called "Tacticool" from Savage, so they're not deemed to be proprietary US military technology, like the identical items from Boyd's, and banned from export....we don't have a monopoly on governmental idiocy in Canada, apparently....

Well, not yet. Not totally.

Is the Tacticool for the Savage wide enough to allow inletting for a 10/22?
