We at Knight’s Armament Company have always prided ourselves in the quality of our products. As we are still a nation at war, the primary focus of KAC is, and always has been, our US government customers and allies. The unprecedented demand for our products, in addition to government purchases, has strained our ability to produce our products within what, we feel at KAC, would be an acceptable delivery time frame. In an effort to expedite existing commercial orders, streamline our production schedule, and focus on producing the high quality products Knight’s Armament is known for, we will be temporarily suspending the acceptance of new commercial firearm and upper reciever orders effective July 1, 2013. After reassessing the current backorders and production time frames, we will be able to give a more accurate delivery schedule for existing orders, as well as make the products available so they can be delivered within a reasonable time.

We all at Knight’s Armament Company ask for your continued support and patience during this time. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes while we re-focus our efforts. We all look forward to resuming firearm sales, creating new business relationships and cultivating existing ones with our loyal customers.

Well that's not entirely surprising.

Didn't OST just get a bunch of SR-25s? I guess those will have to tide us over for a while . . .

Good of them to at least keep everyone in the loop!

Yeah and Darren's current orders are still Valid -- just no new ones will be accepted (other than Government).

Does not apply to rails, suppressors, etc. (not that suppressor availability helps commercially in Canada).

What rumors? The "no eta" you like to bring up? That's SOP

Good thing we already placed a few orders a month ago.

The rumors that government have bought everything up and the demand for AR is through the roof and it will take a year or 2 for things to come back to normal...It's nothing for you to get bent out of shape over, you have all your gov contracts, I can wait regardless...Till everything slows down and prices fall...I have enough to last me a long time, thanks OST for providing some of the stuff..

Also that KAC is running full tilt specifically and can not keep up and maintain its quality, no surprise there.
