I have a loose oprod guide on my M305 and am trying to remove the Oprod guid to preen the barrel and red locktite. And I am having a B!TCH of a time. To top it off, I cannot seem to find the link in the stickies that shows how too. Any suggestions to get this DAMN thing off? Anything help would be appreciated!!

Cheers

Glad you got it off Ok.

This has to be the only gun that you probably WONT damage with a hammer :)
More than likely a good beating straightens the buggers out some :)

I have found a cresent wrench is the ticket. Use the wrench to place on the guide to hit it from both side at the same time and hit the wrench with the hammer. Rotate the wrench around the guide to take it off evenly.

Kinda wierd.... You did take the pin out first yah?
Never met a loose oprod guide that didn't just slide right off once the pin was knocked out.

I was just not hitting it hard enough, and the JB weld from the previous owners fix attempt had caused it to bind a bit. Gave it a real good whack and it popped right off! Was being too light on it :)
