All,

I have a proposal to crowd source, from the members of CGN, the funds to buy that damn Super Black Eagle 1 off the EE with 77 BTT's and over two years of follow up and not one single price reduction. We can pool our money and create a schedule whereby each contributor could have a weekend per year with this now infamous shotgun. Come on folks lets put this owner out of his misery and take this bad boy off his hands :)

I'll start'er out with $50! ;)

Just kidding of course! Had to say something, been looking at that rig for a long time and just scratching my head.

Cheers

Patrick

That thing bugs me every time I see it. It's listed for $100 more than retail at my LGS and that's including taxes. There should be some sort of EE rule about how long a post can be up there, perhaps they should expire after a year?

But you do have to wonder what is going through the seller's mind. Does he think a listing that has gone on for 2 years with no price drop and countless views without selling will entice someone to buy it. It usually works exactly the opposite. Maybe he doesn't know how to edit . At least that would be an excuse.

Maybe he passed away ... :) and a family member is trying to cash in.. lol

I've had a listing on the EE, although it's a WTB, for almost 4 years now. We don't want to do anything rash now, do we?

I'm guessing that this is listed on a few other sites as well.

Some people have multiple listings going on for years. I actually found it ironic when one of those individuals tried to get me to cut him a deal on a rifle that I was selling, when he asks more than new price on everything that he lists.

I've had that happen. I actually had one fellow who offered me less a couple of different times .He came right out and told me that he wouldn't be able to make any money on them if he paid my asking price. Told him my objective wasn't for him to make money.
