hi

I will like to know if it common and how much it can be value ?

I know they sell the bakail for 450 $ but it not a bakail, it a bulgarian military surplus with treathed barrel in restricted not prohib!!
it included a fake silencer too !
I don't have see another one in canada, maybe you have seen one ??

I have original Soviet military issue Makarov made in Izhevsk in 1973 with restricted and threaded barrel, spare mags and holster. I absolutely have no intention on selling it, but hypothetically speaking I'll be looking for 700.00 for this piece.

Deagle .50 and Baikal Makarov in .380. It's like a side arm for the Deagle!

How do you like the Baikal? I'm really thinking of picking one up, I'd go .380 as well. Been looking for YouTube video reviews on them but all I can find is orig Maks, I was looking for a review of this Canadian version.

I really like it but I do have two complaints.
1. The grip is a bit small, I find my Glock without a back strap a better fit but that's just me.
2. Every second mag or so I get a FTF from the cartridge getting caught on the ramp going into the chamber. I dont think its a big deal, might just need a little polishing or grinding to get it smooth.
Other that that it's great little pistol with almost no recoil. Ammo is about the same as 9mm if you can find it. Although it doesn't seem like a very popular cartridge, it is easier to find than 9MAK.
I'll never to sell it, its a great pistol!

PP would be 12.6 prohib, so smaller market equals smaller price... Same PP with a legally changed 107mm bbl and you'll get more than the Mak.

PS: nice Bulgy Mak! I have a Baikal (unable to find milsurp... Yet!!). I love it. Never FTF, but it's in 9mm Mak. No way I would opt for a more expensive to shoot .380...

I had a restricted walther pp and sold it, honestly I perfert the MAK (real Bulgarian military surplus)
I sold my walther for 1300$ and if I had to sold my MAK it will go in the 700-800$ range
it is nicer to have a real 12-6 gun that have been reclassified to restricted for history purpose , and at the same time that save a gun from been destroyed because it was a 12-6 and nobody those day want a 12-6 gun

We need to find a source for 107mm barrels to save more 12.6 pistols! They were plentiful in the 90s when the maks were first hitting the USA, but no more...
