Good, let's get rolling with this project. Gotta ensure that yer #### don't fall off! :D Yup M14 lovers, It's me Hungry with my "teaching" hat on but still the same guy preventing #### loss across the country for all!

This LRB set/ builds are gonna be fun. All I need is the barrel, receivers, bolts to get them installed and indexed. I will fit the barrels and index using my own M1A Flash suppressors. You don't need me to put your FS babies on do ya? heh heh heh :D

And yes, I do have the correct Clymer "Pull Through" reamer in .308. For the curious out there, this unit/tool runs about $300.00 USD plus mailing.

I really would like to assemble your gas cylinders and custom fit their relationships to end up with a gas cylinder WITHOUT shimming. :)

Folks, for those of you who don't know, I just trial-and-error fit different gas cylinder locks (I keep about 6 or 7 of them here) on Otokiak's LRB/Smith barrels (read: cannot do this with Norc unless you swap around at my clinic). I keep fitting them until the lock touches at 3 o'clock, starts snugging up at 4 o'clock, and then plastic hammer fit to 6 o'clock. This process ensures that the gas cylinder assembly - barrel relationship is tight-tight-tight. Can you say "PING" ??

Whaddaya think Otokiak? You getting excited?

Cheers folks!

Barney

If you don't mind I'm going to send all parts for assembly and have you test fire all as much as you wish. I'll PM ya tomorrow and discuss. I also need your address again to send the parts and a gift. :D

From the deep dark depths of "unobtainium land" LOL
They are not, as far as I know, currently in production anywhere. A rare run, Jason got blessed by the m14 gods to have landed that .243 barrel ;)

I got it from a fellow CGNer and not sure how he obtained it! HAHA yeah I suppose I got damn lucky eh 45ACPKING. :D

Well I've been beyond busy lately and dropped the ball again and haven't sent my parts to Hungry to date ... sorry ... :( I just obtained a Kreiger 1:10 stainless heavy barrel I'm going to use instead of the stainless springfield barrel on my 22 inch NM build but unfortunately that won't be coming to me for another month or so ... these things will get built sometime believe me. HAHAHA. Let's see others LRB builds, complete rifles, etc. ;)
