NP-22 or NP-34

Np-22 (with rail, don't get a non-rail one) will take the very common Sig 226 mags, NP-34 takes Sig 228 mags, can be had but not as common. Other than that it's a wash, the grip seems a little fatter on the NP-34. Mine shoots very nicely and is accurate. Joins my family of real Sigs quite nicely.

I just got a NP22. First time with it at range an it performed nicely. no issues and shoot just as tight as the guys next to me with 1911's and glocks. The NP34 is a shorter version of the NP22, but because of barrel length laws in canada the barrel is actually the same as the NP22. I think because of that it looks funny with the extra sticking out, hence why I went with the NP22.

I love my NP34. Nice and compact and a really good shooter. You will want to get a pair of Hogue grips for it. I found mine on sale from a site sponsor. I thought the barrel sticking out looked funny in the pics too, but now that I have it I think it looks good that way. Trigger has a lot of creep to it (in single action) because it is SA/DA, but breaks clean. Might get an SRT trigger mod for it some day. I've never had a problem with the magazines and they are full metal without a big plastic block at the bottom like many other pinned mags. Very comfortable in the hand.

I've had my np34 to the range three times now and have to say it is fast becoming my favorite. No ftf/fte or any other issues. Probably the most accurate ( or the one i'm most accurate with ). Follow up shots are a snap, gun fits well and feels good. I changed the grips to the rubber houges and would recommend doing the same.

I've had both and both are really great pistols for what they are. That said, i prefer the NP-34, I like the shorter overall length. Both performed flawless.

np34 will still take np-22 or p226 mags, they will just stick out a bit more

I had np22 and really liked it but upgraded to a real sig for about the same price, so I sold it

have np34 (no rail and love it), but I have a railed version coming from CanAm soon

Like my NP22, works great, put Sig grips on it and picked up a Sig holster, not a single function issue with it, my only problem is it just doesn't get used, too many other toys that I enjoy more, will be posed on the EE within a week if you are looking for second hand, send me a PM

I used to have NP34 (no rail model), it was actually quite nice when I installed Sig grips on it. Very accurate and trigger was pretty decent. Was sad to let it go, maybe should've kept it.
