Here's one I just picked up today. All matching, untouched original except the safety which I replaced with an e/655 armorers spare. Pretty scarce combination of parts and markings. There are very few flat buttplate, walnut, byf 41's that are Luftwaffe marked. It also came with a nice cgr 41 marked sling that is most likely the original.

Beauty!! Great pics! Better then the sellers that's for sure!

The markings look so much better on a walnut stock.
I really like my walnut guns.

Glad it got here safe.

Great looking gun!!! The finish is so clean and it's nice to see one with action screws that aren't all marred up. Love that stock, does it feel considerably lighter than your laminated ones?

Well that was a great excuse to go fondle some other k98k's. (not that I need one)

So I can feel a difference and my scale shows my byf 42 laminate weighing .8 of a pound heavier.

You must be very proud to own that one. I much prefer the walnut stocks to the laminate especially dark walnut. Looks completely undicked with as well not even lightly sanded.
