Russian MSP. Spetsnaz and KGB issued for covert ops. Uses special ammo with a piston/plunger inside the casing between the powder and 7.62mm bullet. The powder ignition pushes the piston which pushes the bullet and keeps all of the gas trapped in the cartridge. This makes the shot virtually silent, but less than 500 fps. Perfect for stealthy assassinations.
Really cool idea.
I read (Toronto Sun) that it was a Beretta47AK9mmGlock Model AR.45.Actually according to the toronto star that is a 9mm glock ak47.
Less than 500 fps - then these fit the non restricted class and can be possessed in Canada without a gun license.
They can also be imported without any hassle so long as they will not fire a bullet over 500 fps.
Anyone found a U Toob video of the Op's firearm in question in operation?
