Hello everyone;

Just want to show off my newest rifle. The XCR-L in .556 1/9 with some magpul furniture and EOTech sights.

Beautiful (and expensive:( )

This is the newest version SER #84XX

Let me know what you think!

Congrats on a really nice rifle...Robinson Arms is really updating these to look (and function) better for every iteration. The only shame (on any rifle) is the gawdawfull length we are required to have on the barrel to be non-restricted.

###y. And the UBR balances the rifle nicely.

the rifle is no longer front heavy. Nice and balanced now :)

Yea... the damn 18.6" barrel is long and heavy.... but, I love the fact that it is non-restricted

That UBR really looks like it belongs there, beautiful rifle!

I know! I did a lot of research before choosing this stock, and it truly is the best choice for an XCR-L

I agree, this almost doesn't look like an XCR anymore. Very nice rifle

I was thinking of putting a barrel shroud over the barrel to make it look even better. Just need to find a way to do it. I have a mock suppressor now, but I need a way the thread it to fit on the XCR

Hey if you ever want to make a huge drop in the weight on the nose invest in the light barrel, you seriously won't believe the difference it makes!

Is that a NEA adapter you are using to attach the UBR? I'm thinking of doing the same in FDE.

How do you think a PRS would look on one of those?

I've seen some pictures of one with a PRS... personally.. nothing really seems to work right on the XCR in my opinion.

I also don't like the look of a buffer tube on the XCR and the UBR's additional weight balances out the rife more in both weight and looks.

I like the fact that the UBR creates a constant cheekweld too.

I would love to get the light profile barrel.... but not so sure I want to spend another $700 lol.

Yes, it is the NEA adaptor.

You're right. It looks a little weird with the PRS. Just googled it. Definitely like your UBR look much better.

Yeah that looks terrible. On a side note for those that want to run a UBR. To get the nice flush look you need to use the NEA adapter, the Dlask one will give it that ugly un aligned look.

Great looking rifle buddy, glad your happy with the new parts.

I now want one EXACTLY like that. Except in 7.62x39... Would you mind either pming or posting the part list of everything involved in your build?

yes... thank you very much for the UBR. I saw the postman show up and was very surprised to have received it today. The tracking said I wouldn't get it till Friday!

yea no problem;

Magpul UBR
NEA Stock adaptor
Magpul MIAD pistol grip
Magpul Gen 2 PMAG
King Arms vertical grip
EOTech XPS 3-0
EOTech G23 FTS 3x magnifier

Still looking for a low profile back-up iron sight.... don't know what to choose though. I've thought about an MBUS. Not sure what other options there are for me. I need a low profile because of the G23 magnifier.

Great looking rifle...almost makes me tempted to show some photos of my new XCR-L. :) I'm actually liking the FAST STOCK on mine though, not feeling any real temptation to change it. I'm contemplating a Battlecomp 1.0 for mine and like how steady mine is for bipod/groundhog work. :) I appreciate the heft of the barrel. Mine wears an AD Recon mount, ERGO grip, and a Vortex Viper HS 4-16x44.

UBR and the gen 2 NEA stock were made for each other, unfortunately the QD socket on the adapter is useless, because if you have a QD on the left side it will interfere with charging handle> it would had been nice if they had drop the sockets and shorten the whole adapter by about an inch or so.

PRS on a XCR makes a great canoe paddle.
