Cool Stumpy SKS

Most had some chicken wings going on...nothing too series.

Cool little bush/truck gun...but x2 on too bad it'd be restricted here.
 
There were a small number made with short barrels that are restricted. I think they are 16 inch barrels but not sure. Very rare here but I have seen one and nearly bought it. Pickering gun show I ended up with a SKS M in a trade deal instead.
 
I've always wanted a para SKS, they look cool with their short barrels. Too bad the barrels themselves are only 18", a half inch longer and I'd be game for a bunch of them. I think that barrel is just too short though, needs to be a bit longer to get the most out of the x39.

He's a pretty terrible shot though, either that or the modifications really f3cked up the gun.
 
Very cool - the range sort of looks like the remains of a Civil War era fortress. Kind of reminds me of the remains of Sandwich Battery over in Halifax, but of course it's not.

I once examined a VZ-52/57 up close and personal and it had a very satisfying SMLE type of feel. If I could justify the expenditure, I would have bought it as they were asking $300. 99 percent sure it was 7.62X39, as the 7.62X45 ones are pretty rare I am told.

Get yourself an extra SKS, the reset button ;) ;) is supposedly going to be pushed in a yr or two, but they are always saying things like that!.
 
The range is in Cambodia since I have been there a few time also I'm Cambodian and No, the range was recently build for tourist, you can shot pretty everything there as long as you have US dollars ready and yes, they don't accept Canadian dollars.

The Cannuck buck is worth more than the greenback and has been for quite some time now...they know that in Cambodia right!?

They sure do but they still prefer greenback since that's what they have been using until now, not many farmer know what is Cannuck buck and might though, it's ghost money somehow. From kid to old man know what greenback look like. That's pretty much it.

As for shooting, again you can pretty much shot anything we have in there, just need to know the right connection. You can drive a Russian T54 or Ukrain T54 and shot a couple rounds off. Last time, I heard my friend be able to hook up BM-21 for out shooting as well, all you need is greenback and probably a set of woodland camo clothing. One rounds of RPG cost 300 greenback for foreigner but for me, cost about 100 $ plus a couples case of beer but I can shot as much as I want but honestly, you won't be able to stand the heat after 2 rounds fire one after another.
