In the past, I have used Prophet River to import firearms from the USA, and it usually took from a month to a few months from the time that I bought the firearm, until I received it. However, this time , I purchased a Winchester Model 23 shotgun off of Gunbroker on the afternoon of May 31, and I was shooting it last night. In less than two weeks, the gun was shipped from Nashville, to Montana, picked up by Prophet River in Montana, and taken to Lloydminster, and then shipped to me in Fort McMurray. As usual, Prophet River did a great job, but this was exceptional, even for them.

We were lucky with the timing on this one. With shotguns this can happen as the liscense is done different from other firearms. Just don't ever expect it with handguns or rifles. Quickest for these is about four weeks if everything works out perfectly. Glad you like it SJ and thanks for your business!

Liking the gun a lot. I shot skeet with it last night, and didn't take the time to strip it down and service it, so it was stiff. I also discovered just how much I hate automatic safeties.This morning I stripped it down, and lubed it, and it was much smoother this afternoon. It's very different than my O/U guns, but I did manage a 24 on my last round of skeet today, which isn't bad for a short barreled 20 gauge SxS field gun choked IC/M.
