Hopefully CanadaAmmo will continue to have deal deals after all this harassment that they've been getting. Sheesh, how many of these guns have been sold? Seems like no one has patience. If you're selling a few thousand gun deals, I can imagine these things take time. It's going to suck when the whiners ruin it for everyone else.

:agree:Absolutely agree....and it has been the same posters for pages and pages...why not just cancel your order and move on before deals like these in the future are no more.

Order 3959185 arrived yesterday morning QUOTE]

Both of my order #'s are lower than yours and I haven't received the first (supposedly with the CFC/CFO) and they haven't even processed the second according to their tracking function. You have relatives working there or something? lol (sort of).

I've tried to contact CanAm in every way possible over this past week and still no reply about the status of Order #: 3958588... Transfer was approved Monday and its been well over the advertised 48 hours since my transfer notice was sent to them but still no notification of shipment. Not complaining but just wondering if everything is okay with the order? If you see this CanAm please let me know.

if you have not received your order here are multiply suggestions;
1 confer with the seller, discuss issues with them asking for info like their licensing number, contacts: the cfo will need this. donot post here first!
2 contact the CFO, ask if transfer has started
3 contact your credit card company and alert them of your payment, and not receiving the goods
4 be cautious : though some businesses can go Bankrupt leaving you at risk , DONT LET THIS HAPPEN ( not saying it will in this case).
5 if order is not completed within reasonable time , you have the right to place an " lost my gun with the local police department and the CFO respectively",, becuz it yours, paid for and not to your procession. makes you responsible and liable to criminal prosecution. (these rules are different prov to prov)

if you dont care, then dont worry about it.. as the saying goes, those that help themselves achieve the most!

meanwhile :) :) just saying all of you have a good happy day

I've had my reg. cert. in had for about two weeks now. Can-par tried to deliver on Tuesday this week, but like many people, i work 8-5 so no one was home. I tried to arrange a pickup with the driver on Wednesday at their depot. No one was around when I arrived. Phone calls to the number provided on Thursday and today (Friday) have gone unanswered.

The part that concerns me is that the shipper knew what was in the box. He said I have to sign for "guns and ammo", which is fine by me, but how they know what's in the boxes? I didn't tell them.

Ammunition plus a firearm registered in my name, but not in my possession. The person holding the package knows what they have, and are being somewhat elusive. Should I be concerned? At what point should I report this stolen? Another week? Month?

Hey guys/girls I have some questions for you all and since most of you have a plethora of knowledge you might be able to help me out. I just called the CFC and asked about my transfer. They told me that it was approved June 6th and they are sending me the papers. I haven't got an update email saying that I was approved from CanAmm. Has anyone else had this happen at all? Is there a missed step on my part or am I be impatient? Thanks for your help.

You know...I've thought this exact same thing. After days in the dark from Canada Ammo with ZERO communication it is quite alarming to think that the ones delivering pistols and ammo just know what's in the boxes. They could (maybe not as easily as we think) just take off with the goods and we'd be left wondering "when is my stuff going to get here?".

I think the fact that Canada Ammo has been completely silent on this "pistol rollout" is most concerning. Having forked over money for something is fine, but at least communicate with your buyer to let them know the status of their purchase. Volume aside, that is planning they could have taken into consideration but didn't. Now I guarantee there is a churning minority of disgruntled and untrustworthy customers.

And to boot they post on this forum, but post nothing productive or insightful. One of their most recent posts, "nice pics".

I think that pretty much sums it up.

Just to clear one thing up, we are not too busy to answer emails, and our auto response does not say that we are.

What it does say is that we cannot answer every email personally.

I use the auto response when the questions asked is answered in the auto response email. These questions are usually; where is my order or what is my reference number.

Other, more specific questions are answered specifically.

All emails sent to info@ are seen by me.

Still waiting for a response to my specific question regarding missing items for order number: #3957782. Going on 4 days now.

Hopefully on a brighter note. one of mine (received on Tuesday!) now sports a nice pair of Chip McCormick

Exhibition Grade Rosewood Double Diamond grips! The more I inspect and clean this 1911, the closer it seems

to me to be VERY G.I. spec. The grips fit perfectly.

I was thinking this firearm would need a lot of work and tuning to be barely presentable at the range - such is not the case! I haven't unsealed the second one yet; perhaps I'll

wait until my birthday (next month) to do that! OH - I also have a set of exotic wood grips coming from EBay - Roble Sabana wood, which I hope to inlet with a medallion.

Canthitathing, I sincerely hope your shipment gets to you soon!

And a P.S. - My registration papers from CFC arrived yesterday.

F**K Im a B***H Sorry CanAmm, I just got an email that it has been shipped now the wait happens to see what will come first my gun or my grips.

Just received email of shipping notification from CanAm.
Ordered May 1st.
Transfer initiated May 27th.
Item shipped June 14th.

I didn't call the CFO to have them initiate the transfer or anything. I guess it would've sped up the process if you called but meh.

I would just wait if you are feeling anxious about your package. If you ever been in customers service before, you'd know why. The folks at CanAm are probably laughing their heads off every time someone sends a email or calls them about their order. It's like a bunch of kids in the back seat. "Are we there yet?"

Got mine today. Order placed April 23. Transfer was initiated 3 or 4 weeks after visa was charged. Another month with BC CFO. Shipped in same week after approval.

Canada Ammo seems to be a small operation and patience from buyers is needed. How do you expect such a great deal if they are a big operation... I will also guess my transfer could not have started before they had an actual gun with SN. They must have done this as a presale to get some capital to pay for a huge order at huge discounts. This was a really good deal and unfortunately some of you are too impatient to realize this small company has to handle all these orders for the whole country... Relax, it's coming.

As for my piece. I was planning on just selling it off but I think I may just keep it. Cracked grip but I have spares. I don't have a GI model in my collection. This one is pretty nice out of the box. Rough like my NP29 but with better action out of the box. Needs a bit of tuning, and will definitely need some cleaning.

Big thanks to Can Am! If this deal doesn't entice new shooters to 1911s I dunno what will.

If you didn't do your research and weren't aware that it'll take some time to get your order, you should have done your research.

If you did your research and knew it would take some time but are complaining anyway, why? you knew it'd take awhile :)
