Bullets - .458"

Hi!!

I want to start reloading for my marlin 1895g
Where do you get cheap bullets? So far I have only found the expensive stuff.

Tks!

I was just about to post the same question!

I've bought Remington brass, found H4198 in stock, but now looking for bullets.

From searching the forum I've found the Bullet Barn and Custom Reloading Service (both in BC) and am seeing if there are any other options.

I really liked the look of Beartooth and Garrett bullets but they are in the USA and for whatever reason it seems impossible to get them in Canada.

I'd like to try a variety in the 350-450 gr range without buying 100-200 at a time

"...cheap bullets..." No such thing. Cast bullets can be less expensive though. Jacketed bullets for anything get expensive quickly.
"...impossible to get them in Canada..." They're likely selling everything they make Stateside and don't want to bother with the U.S. exporter's licence. No you cannot bring 'em back yourself.
"...without buying 100-200..." Big bullets usually come in 50 packs. You'd have to work up a load anyway. 50 isn't enough.

Bullet Barn out of British Columbia[aka bullet bench in Alberta] has lead bullets pretty reasonable[50.00 for 500 in 9mm, not sure what 458 would be]

Bullet barn is more expensive and they are in BC
R&R has a better price and they are in Ontario, so cheaper shipping as well.
Later I'll check casting....maybe it is worth the extra work.

thanks everyone for the help.

BTW, I got an updated price list from R&R, if you want the PDF just send me a PM
