Think of the explaining to the wife...That's what's stopping me - I have 2 CFO's to get approval by... the government one and the household one! Oh, and also an update on my missing items would be appreciated.
You're right, of course. I "lucked out" with the first shipment. My Lovely Wife agreed to ONE, and wasn't
aware that the second one happened along. I don't dare try THAT stunt again! So I'll not be greedy for another deal.
These are plenty to keep me busy and happy for a long while!
(But, it was SUCH a good deal... LOL!!)

I know that Canada Ammo has accepted orders and held them pending RPAL in the past... That was before they got stupid-busy tho...

I ordered on May 7 and my order is 8253... That means they received 66 orders in one day... Wanna bet at least half were .45 combos? No longer a mystery why they are backed up!
barrel finish has a 2 tone thing going on for some reason
I would be sending that back. The barrel is "two tone" because it is not fully machined/cleaned up. Either it was turned between centers and the bore is not straight through the forged blank or the tailstock was offset, or it was turned in a chuck and center and was not dialed in properly. The shiny darker colour is machined surface. The whitish surface is rough forging.
On a lighter note, I don't know if i should chill out or what. I urdered mine 10 days ago, my EMT was accepted 5 days ago, and the site still tells me "New order - not yet processed". Shouldn't it be processed when my money was taken?

well thats not what I wanted to hear! it seems to be fine, machining seems fine, maybe a bit of polishing will take care or it and make it one tone.

It used to take up to 2 weeks for the order to show "processed" now with all the orders and the back log i would be surprised if its closer to 3 weeks or more, no worries like all the others said you will get your order

BTW I am sorry Canada Ammo for being disappointed in your lack of communication and length of time getting my order to me. Nobody can match this deal and you even include free shipping. Nope. These barrels are hard chrome plated and it looks to me like that one is missing some plating. The lighter color is the hard chrome.
I just fired an email off the info@canadaammo.com with a copy of my Transfer notice and Registration, can they ship it now? how long does it usually take for it to ship and to reply to my email?

I don't think so, mine is similar, its probably where they crazy glued the 2 parts of the barrel together! Shoot the 1000 rounds they gave you with the deal, then take a look at the barrel as you clean it and order another 1000 rounds cause the first crate was so much freakin fun, then repeat every 1000 rounds!
