Since many threads about stripper clips turn into a marketplace for surplus clips, I though it was time to start a thread with the sole purpose of doing so. Some shooters like myself choose to shoot non-corrosive commercial ammo and are forced to purchase clips at inflated prices.

I am not willing to pay $1 a piece for "new" clips while there is an abundance of tossed clips laying around.

Anyone willing to "sell" for the cost of postage and donation (the most reasonable looks to be 10 clips a postage stamp) or just give them away for free, that's cool too.

Got some laying around taking up space, this is the place to unload.

I myself am looking for some more stripper clips and willing to pay up to a maximum of 25¢ a piece. I am all for capitalism, but sometimes you have to share the wealth.

Any takers? Or anyone else in the same position as myself? Post and PM away.

I'm always interested in clips too. I've been offered many times and so far only TWO members have kept to their word and actually sent me some. The usual deal seems to be "oh I have a 55 gal drum full you can have, I'll even pay the truck freight!" but turns into "I couldn't find them" or "I'm gonna keep em" or "they're on the EE now for $25/piece."

You need stripped clips to load an sks? Sorry I'm not familiar to the sks.

They're not required but it makes loading faster and easier. They're also more convenient to carry than loose rounds. Several firearms accept them or have adapters that fit over magazines to fill them.

good idea for a thread. Some people have tons to spare, others have a hard time to find them. I dont need any, but good idea.

I have that happen a few times. Get a reasonable deal going then they attempt to jack up the price

There have been a few guys that sent me 10 clips in an envelope for nothing. Which I appropriate, and you get a positive seller rating in return for the price of a postage stamp, envelope, and 10 of your leftover clips.

The worst is when someone tries to profit from found clips at the range.

hmmm 1000 clips for $100, sounds like a good deal

good for 10,000 rounds

In all fairness, what are they worth? What is the price for scrap metal? Take the recycle value, add a %50 mark up. Then double it for "functional" value and desirability. If someone does the math, it will not be worth more then 25¢ a piece.

Beavermeat, give me a shout, WARNING, I will ask you to pay postage and can send a bunch your way. I have made this offer before on another thread like this and some fellows in dire need of stripper clips never did reply back.

The Czech ammo is great, not overly dirty and on clips.. I've probably shot 7+ crates of it now... Normally I have a few to spare but my skss have not been touched since there was snow on the ground

This is what you do, buy a few of those padded envelopes, fill your name out and figure out the cost of shipping 50 stripper clips and write a cheque for the amount and offer to send anyone the self address envelope if they have a stockpile to get rid of. All they have to do is stuff it in the mailbox, the easier you make it them the more likely they will go through with the promise.

I bought 100 stripper clips from some CGN fellow couple weeks back and also ordered 2 crates of the Czech ammo from Henry with few fellow local CGNer. I guess for now I have enough supply for stripper clips. Life is good!

Postage to send 60 clips from Calgary to Ontario is about $17. Are they really worth it?
