Beautiful gun, nice to see a "rare" caliber being shot. And shot well I must add!!!!!
(I'm kind of from the same family, I have a 94 win in .307 win. So I know how much fun these anything but run-of-the-mill lever guns can be. )

I found a .375 Win case in a sand pit one day and have really wanted a nice lever rifle chambered in it since. Always seems to be something else to buy first though...

While we are here,
Notice how the shots are sending off to the Left of the bull, and slightly High....

What adjustments would you make in the Rear Peep sight, Im cool with the Vertical business (as that varies a lot with Velocitys, Factorys V Reloads) But never had to do much with the Lefts an Rights....

Being out Left, im assuming I need to Wind out to the Right

Tomorrow I will be testing at 100 m, Old Load V New Load an will Set the rifle up accordingly after I make a decision which load works best.

This explains it pretty well.

Interestingly, I shot the regular loads from the same distance this morning, got similar results

Keep in mind is only 50m for now, Next test will be a slight Re align of the Rear peep an then some 100m shooting, with a larger target to see what happens.

Elevation difference is 3 inches from 2 grains of powder.

primers arnt too bad, in previous tests they backed out or 'puffed up' a little, not so evident here.

That's into a dam bank, so some Clay in there an is quite "hard" penetration was up to 10inch in most cases.

Happy with the results so far, will proberly chill on the rifle until next week, weekend is approaching an we are out on a meat hunt.

Thanks for peepin

WL...Good to see you still using yer .375 Winny.
My one will be with me till I tip over. I still have plenty of factory
200 grainers to use up, but I'm going to start using cast 250 gr.
loads in 'er soon.:D

Demonical, I havnt got access to a Chrono yet, Although I am anxious to find out what speeds the .35whelen is pushing, an would run the 375 over it also.

estimate 1700-1800fps

Nice shooting with the factorys, real nice!

cheers

Im finding adi 2208 (Varget) works fine, not looking for speeds, the light loads ( -1 min up to -3gr min) have been working a treat for what it does.

I use it for 'elk' sized animals upto 100ms in thick #### when I want to go traditionally back to the 60s-70s I suppose :)

thanks for your opinion though regarding powders.
