Timney triggers

Check out Mystic Precision (he is a board sponsor), price is a bit cheaper and located closer to you, you'll save a bit on shipping too.
I use a Timney in a Rem 700, happy with it, easy install.

My understanding is that the complete assembly will not fit the SR22. I think there is an issue with the mag release. Better check with Timney.

I thought I read something about that but cannot seem to find it. Also saw some issues with Timney triggers for 1022 on Rimfire. Would like to just get a Kidd drop in but can't seem to find anyone that sells them here.

If you are talking about the the complete assy, it will not fit without having some material removed from the back end. Had mine done at a local gunsmith. It fits perfect
and works beautiful, has all the extras you will probably be looking for. Got mine at Mystic, check out their dealer forum here.

Would that be removed from the trigger assembly or gun? Pictures would be nice.

I have one on a 10/22 I love it.
I'm also waiting for a second one for a 10/22 magnum.

I have no input on the SR22 but I wanted to say that I love these triggers.

would be interesting to see how these run compared to a Kid.

i guess for something like that youd need to have both and swap them back and forth in the same gun to get the best comparison.

i went with the Kid but ill always wonder how the Timmy is.

Where did you get the Kidd one from and how long?

http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum...-Lower-INSTOCK. Look in this forum and post by JERAD. The material is removed from the back of the trigger assy. JERAD has
a picture of it. Again just take it to a gunsmith it is not expensive to have it done.....I think there needs to be a sticky on this. They will fit a sr 22 with minor modification.

As a drop-in trigger group unit, nothing, absolutely nothing compares to a Kidd.
The only trigger unit that ever existed that could beat a Kidd was last made about 15 years ago.

Timney is a fukken joke. I remember how excited I was when it first came out,
and I was starting threads in here and other sites about it, looking forward to the new promise,
only to be profoundly disappointed by its poor performance and price when it came out.
