I just ordered some mercury for the lab today... saw "quicksilver" on the acronyms list.. thought to myself "who the hell calls it quicksilver?".... are you a prospector from the 1800s?
When I was a kid I would break open the glass tubes of old thermostats and collect the mercury to play with...then id probably go eat without washing my hands.
