Mis-matched back sight & nvn on the forend but no reason to suspect forend is not the original, Volley sights are Lithgow stamped.

The 1917 re-numbered rear sight but all matching.

Lol...yes all kidding aside, New Zealanders seem to find the finest examples of Lee Enfields (mkIII) I have seen.
