Best gun lube for an M305 and why?

I'm assuming a light application would suffice?
 
I use Ultraslick and it works fine warm or cold weather. I think synthetics are the way to go due to the updated properties of synthetic grease. I am also using snowmobile grease on my other M305. This also seems to work fine.

Do you have any issues with debris sticking to the grease?

Ultralube = no debris problems so far. It is not as thick or sticky as traditional grease once applied and working, but it sticks to metal well and seems to have decent staying capability. Great lubricating properties so far. It appears to have a lower viscosity once you work it.

Sled grease= a little thicker, and I have not noticed any "major" debris issues to date. This might just be luck. Don't over grease, don't under grease, and always stay greased. That seems to do the trick in all cases.
 
Weaponshield - I swear by it.

The oil or the grease - friggen' incredible stuff; It actually conditions the metal (it's a creeping oil).

'Can't get it up here - gotta order it online and ship it to your US address (I use a postal service at the border).

"...best gun lube..." Grease where metal parts meet metal parts, light oil everywhere else. Which one doesn't matter. However, in cold weather, shoot 'em bone dry or the oil and grease will congeal and stop the rifle from firing.
 
While it may not be the "best" according to anyone but myself... For my rifles I use sea foam deep creep (it's basically clp) for wipe downs. Eats old grease and carbon ect. That's as far as oil anyways.
For Greasing the parts groups, I have switched to Prolab GS-1000 synthetic.
Tried all kinds and have noticed that in my applications, temp ranges from +35C to -35C , it performs flawlessly.

Motorcycle chain wax or grease is perfect. High heat, sticky and repels water-humidity (as much as grease can)
 
I use some mystery grease Barney gave me a couple years ago, but the key is the syringe with the elongated curved spout, makes for very precise application!

I use a toothbrush to apply the grease, and operate the action few times. Then I wipe the excessive grease away.
 
I got a few of these from Hungry as well and some of his super sniper lube too (White lithium...lol )

The syringes work great

 
I use canadian tire all purpose grease, it stinks and makes your clothes nasty. My #### also fell off playing the lobster claw game
