Not able to join EE

Anybody else have issues joining the EE group, I keep getting told I'm in the US even though I have provided my static ID IP from my Internet provider proving I'm in Canada.I'm frustrated that I have to pull the info out of admin to find out what I have to do, I get brief info provide answer then another brief question. Just want to join to find a few parts for an AR build and Maybee sell a few extra items I have.Just really frustrated because it's like I'm trying to infiltrate a secret gang or something. Just needed to vent....Because I can't get settled. Thanks
 
I have it's back and forth, instead of giving me a list of things to try and do its always one thing at a time. It's like pulling teeth to get info so you can understand my frustration. I thought CGN was for fellow firearm owners to help each other out with info and stuff. I keep providing proof that I'm in Canada but it never seems enough.

I spoke with my Internet provider and they gave me my static IP addresses, but I use a wireless router and IPad/IPhone so that can be causing the location problem. I hate complaing but it's like guilty till you prove yourself innocent,and getting one word answers then waiting another day for another gets frustrating. Just want to buy and sell a few things , I'm really a nice honest guy who joined this forum to find answers to my questions and learn more about a sport/ hobby/addiction I really enjoy .

Have you tried using another computer or not at home.. the admins are not necessarily familar with other network issues.
 
I have logged in briefly once or twice at work,just to check a message , my other computer is on the same wireless network. I could be the work Comp. that was showing I'm in the US? I reapplied for access to EE last night so well see what happens.
 
I had this problem because I log in from US locations that I fly to regularly. It got worked out. There are location issues with ISPs and IPs. The Hilton Garden Inn in Leduc reports a US IP for example.

That could be the reason, I know our work computers have this sight blocked.
 
UPDATE : Mod wants me to re apply in 2 weeks to see if it's still saying I'm in the US ( wich would mean I could legally carry,hunt with an AR etc.) so I'm only going to log in using this IPad at home ans wait and see. I thought getting my Rpal took long :s

SO in summery from one place it works and the other it does not?
