Just got back from the range, did a reload sweep to find the right load. 39-41 0.5gr increment. Found the magic load. 100 yards, im a left handed shooter and all my hits are at the left of my point of aim. nadia is right handed, impact on the right side of POA.

IMR4895 (not the best powder but its what i have, ill try RL15 and varget)

Good stuff. Looks like 40.5gr is your money winner. Did you bed your action on your AAC-SD or is this all stock out of the box?

:agree:

I neglected to mention that 40.5gr group is very nice. If you can do that consistently, as Trinimon said out of the box, you got yourself a fine shooting rifle!

Bedded the front screw with 4 layers of soda can sheet XD so the barrel does truly free floating even with good amount of pressure on the stock. I'm still new to shooting I gotta learn more bout trigger and breath control.

When I was loading for my rifle which was exactly like yours it never did like the 168gr of anything I tried. It did however like 175 gr smks. And my current load 180gr nosler ballistic tip. Nosler custom brass. Cci match primers. 43.5 gr varget.

We usually toss in a free muzzle break when we sell the 308 AAC. It's an NEA heavy break originally for the VZ58 that we had threaded for them.
