Well today I bought a brick of blazer 22 lr ammo. I bought some for my cz 85 pistol in 9mm and it worked fine,..so I figured I would save a few bucks and try the 22 stuff. This ammo is Awful !!! It is sooo inacurate at 100 yards. Worst i've ever shot. I thought winchester was bad LOL. It would only cycle some of the rounds in my mossberg plinkster. Same thing with my ruger Clone. I have never used such junk. Will never buy it for my 22"s again. So i went to my reloading table in the shop and pulled a bunch apart....wow some only had 1/2 a powder charge in them. pathetic.

Did you buy the blazer 525 bulk pack or the 500 rd brick? The 525 stuff is horrible and waxy, the 500 rd brick with clear holder is much better

It certainly isn't math quality but it is accurate enough for gophers, grouse and rabbits out to 50 meters if you do your part.

I've noticed that it is quite dirty though and accuracy will drop off rapidly after a couple of boxes.

Maybe your rifle just needs to be cleaned????

The only other rim fire ammo I've had this issue with are the black, iron cased Russian offerings that used to sell for less than $10 per brick.

I shot 2 bricks of cci blazers in the last few weeks and I found it to be quite accurate and I only had 1 Ftf but it shot on the second go.

Ya, no doubt I got a bad batch. Both of my rifles cycle 100%. I'll continue using Federal. Its accurate, clean, and always works.

Rifle needed cleaning ??? Some of them only had 1/2 a powder charge...hows that suppose to work in anything.

Clear shell holder CCI White shell holder with feet Federal

Also a perforated tear off strip on the flap of the brick indicates Federal production on contract to CCI. Its not nearly as good as true CCI. When I realized what was happening I bought about 3000 rnds of the real CCI.

I got a 22 LR belt fed, now it runs fine on the 500 bricks of CCI blazer, not so much on the 525, But oh well, My Ruger 2245 eats up whatever the belt fed doesn't eat, and if not my Henry 22 eats anything. Thats all I run is CCI Blazers.

That's how it goes with 22lr. Some guns like some ammo, some does not.

My Kimber Rimfire Target loves Winchester 555, but hates Golden Bullets.
It works just fine with 525 Waxy Blazer, but FTE's constantly with 500 Posh Box Blazer, which is odd cause you'd think it's the same stuff.

Just cause a particular ammo does not work in your gun doesn't mean it's junk, just means your gun has particular tastes.

22's are especially picky eaters. Some have refined pallets, mine seems to prefer junk food.
