Finally got the elusive full Manlicher 308 Zastava from Epps...

The nicest Mannlichers to me are the pre-SBS Steyr-Mannlicher Luxus, the L, SL and the Sauer 90 Stutzen. Oh yes, and the pre-war Mannlicher Schoenauers. :)

My mother had an Interarms Mk.X full-stock in .243 Win. It is basically the same as your Zastava. They are good rifles.

You are right, Bro. It is mine. I just put the order. So the rifle is on my way, hopefully divorce is not.

Man, it is tough to be a gun nut and poor the same time.

A gunnutz always goes tru war once in a while with the minister of war ( miss caramel ) and believe me money have nothing to do with it, ya sometimes it does, but i just say... Bof... JP.

i m waiting for one in 30-06 for our bear huntress .... i keep dreaming to get one in left hand configuration.

just for the info there is too some in 9,3x62 .... with Tradeex.

nice!!! I just ordered a zastava m98 (m70) in 308 win regular stock. cant wait to get it. if I like the rifle I will most likely be ordering on in 375 h&h this fall. still not sure I want a win model 70 in 308 first or a 375 h&h first! so many guns not enough money!!

don't understand why the use of the long-standard action for the mighty 308 .... longer bullet?

They don't make a short FN clone as I am sure it would be quite expensive to tool up for that.
Zastava (and Santa Barbara) use old FN machinery and patterns.

Barrel lenght should be 510mm (20.07") and weight 3.5 kg (7.7 lbs) for standard calibers and 3.9 kg (8.6 lbs) for the African ones (.375 H&H and .458 WM).

I've been drooling over the full wood stock zastava's for a while, I'd darn near give my left nut for a 9.3x62 in a lefty.

The only full length wood item I have at present is a Sako model A III in .270 Win.
It belonged to a workmate and friend who passed away recently and I picked it up more for sentimental reasons than anything. He last used it on this Moose hunt up at my cabin at Bowron Lake.

Another friend has a similar style Brno in 7x57 that I wouldn't mind having. Something I'll have to work on.

Johnn, This caption just doesn't come off right............... Got the first full stock from a buddies estate who PASSED AWAY, and now you're going to WORK ON another buddy for his full stock 7X57.........LOL Does this mean if I post a pic of a rifle you really want, I'll get invited to your cabin too? ;)

PS Please take this in the spirit it is intended, no disrespect to your passed away friend intended.

if we re enough to ask for a lh mannlicher full stock let me know ...

I don't know, what are minimum order quantities and do they need to be ordered in the same caliber or can they be ordered in a few of each? What availible calibers are folks wanting to see?
