Just a reminder that the Alberta hunting draw deadline is June 27, tomorrow. Anybody got any sure draws this year? I'm only expecting antlerless mulie and whitetail, should be able to fill the freezer up with meat at least. We have an outside shot at moose, and possibly trophy antelope as well.

Have you bowhunted for sheep before TJ?
When I left Alberta I had 5 points for a mule buck but I was only intrested in one area so just made that choice each year. Got drawn for bull moose and wasn't able to go hunting which ticked me off. Had a whitetail doe tag and had a extra hour one day finally to fill it.

I think you mean undersubscribed licence, special licences are the draws.

Write this down on your calendar right NOW!
August 13 the information on Undersubscribed licences is available on line. So look it over and decide what permits you may really want to use. Don't just try to grab up an opportunity because you can if you are not likely to purchase and use the permit.
August 15 at 9:00 a.m. the licences are available for reservation on line. Some of the permits get gobbled up right fast so if you REALLY want one be ready to go for it first thing.
