Tavor NR barrel chrome lined or nitrided?

I saw that there was a quick and easy trigger mod for the Tavor, but I feel like I should get proficient with the original trigger before spoiling myself with a lighter pull. Thanks for the info, I guess there is always a trade off.

I asked Canada Ammo this question when they were selling them and this is the response I got:

no, tenifer, which is tougher.

Mine has 20,000 and still shoots fine.
