KSG use?

I see they are in stock now, for under 1200 bucks. Still not interested. 500, maybe!

IMHO, it will be a cold cold day in hell before the KSG sells for $500... Ain't... Gonna... Happen... Not as long as it's American made anyways... (I guess China could 'clone' it... We all know what they think of patents...)

Do they come in green?

Yea they do, although the only ones i've seen around here are black for whatever reasons.
They absolutely do make them in green though, and tan as well!

Is it just me or am I the only one that finds the KSG quite unpleasant to shoot? Granted they are cool because of the compact size, so where size is a factor such as packing a gun for wilderness camping it could make some practical sense owning one. Otherwise IMHO they are really just an overly plastic "because I can" toy. Nothing wrong with that btw.

Not at all. I actually find the slugs & buckshot to be quite reasonable! The only issue I have found with my KSG is it does not like shells that have steel bases... Sticky extraction... Still runs them, just have to use a little more authority in pumping rearwards to extract.

When I say unpleasant I'm not talking about felt recoil, which is substantial with 3" slugs, but not unexpected given the KSG's size, weight and butt plate thickness/density. Specifically I'm referring to the smoke that emits from the loading/ejection port and rolls upward directly into the shooter's face. Not an issue if you are shooting from the hip, or there is a stiff breeze, but empty both mag tubes in still air and it's a recipe for watering eyes at the very least.

15 rounds of 00Buck on clay targets... FUN & no smoke in my eyes? Never noticed what you are describing here & I have a Tavor that I have experienced the Tavor eye watering... But the KSG has been ROCK solid from day one!

Interesting. Could've been the specific ammo we were using, but it was definitely an issue. Two friends that shot it commented on the smoke show as well.
