I hope everyone with communication issues with CANAM reads this post. I was livid with the lack of response from CANAM and basically wrote them off as a bunch of Assclowns. Until I went to clear my spam box in my e mail. There were all CANAM's replies and in a very timely manner. I am pissed that I cancelled my order and feel badly for badmouthing them. PLEASE EVERYONE, check your spam box first. Sorry CANAM.

I've tried to call and e-mail. Checked my spam box and no replies for either of my e-mails in there. I've had my registration cert for three weeks now and no response at all. I know you guys are busy but everyone that I deal with is and once they take my money they usually keep me in the loop. Can you find out what's going on. My order is for a norc 1911 and two crates of 45.

I've had my reg. cert. for over 2 weeks as well and NO word from you guys. i'm only a 20 min drive from your shop too.

Error message!!!

Just placed an order, got ERROR MESSAGE, "Your order did not go through but your credit card may be charged, contact site operator". This is bad business! Time is money and now I have to waste time to sort this out. Next time I'll pay a bit more elsewhere and avoid the hassle. A word to the wise is sufficient.
 
Yeah - I hate it when that happens ...

Just a word though - it was very likely a computer fart, not the merchant themselves.

I betcha a quick phone call and all will be 'as right as rain' within a few hours!

It sounds to me like the payment gateway did not send a callback to the merchant, required to flag the order as paid or complete it.

They should probably still have a record of the order. Not sure what eCommerce platform they are running, but this does happen sometimes. How the website handles these cases is directly proportional to its quality.
 
We do not use online payment processing, so all is well. Just a glitch in the code. The site is undergoing a huge backend change to make processing and shipping orders much faster.

Stock listed but actually gone, this led to error message, problem fixed, order not possible. they got back to me, appreciated that, wish the item was in stock though.That's just the way it goes.:(
 
OMG! My time is so important I am going to cry online that I have to send a 2 minute email or make a 5 minute phone call!!!!!! LIFE SUCKS!
 
Im not going to throw a tantrum, but I think its REALLY annoying that after numerous emails sent over a week regarding an order goes unnoticed is BAD business. Ive bought from canada ammo before without problems, but this is going to probably be the last. Ordered a week ago june 21. Order processed and charged on my CC the 24th. Nothing shipped after 4 days. 5 emails sent in between that time up until today and NOTHING. Im buying ammo, so its not like Im buying a restricted gun where it might take a little extra time to get paper work done with the CFO. I agree with 'big bear' and wasting our time.....me with sending numerous emails when it should have been replied to after the first one I sent. And yes I checked my junk mail and nothing as well. I think Ill be sticking with another source next time I need some ammo.

Yeah I have called and emailed and etc. No response. I changed my address due to the middle of moving but I ordered early to get in on the deal (little did I know there was thousands!) but I left a note explaining the situation and was assured it would be fine. So i emailed them with the new address and such. No response, I have done it many times. I have no problem with the wait. I just hope it goes to my house where I currently live. Not my old address. Ah well. Its in the hands of the gun gods now! Hahaha. Order number: 3957857‏ just in case this gets viewed!
