Nope (it's there for a reason). Too bad the video was completely dysfunctional, otherwise we might have had a more clear and concise idea of what the modification entailed.
I have a buddy who runs it without the spring and aven't heard any complaint

The spring was added to pass the IDF drop test
I was told by an engineer at IWI that it was added because the gun was failing a rather grueling high drop (6m?) test at the IDF.Huh, I would consider removing mine if that was the case. I was told that the trigger might not reset properly without it...I think if the rifle fully cycled before you release the trigger. I don't remember where I heard that but im pretty sure it was on here somewhere.
People have been doing that trigger job for years now. Since Can Am first started bringing them in. Think Military Arms Channel guy even did that to his one.
its not the best way of doing it because for what i can see he leave the spring and the pin loose in the trigger pack.
