Painted Norc

Whats the different between a painted Norc and unpainted???? FF has them for sale and made special note of this? Why???

I had a painted and a anodized the anodized one was a nicer finish but there was nothing wrong with the painted. But norc is norc sometimes its a gamble with the finish ive seen some really nice ones and some really crappy ones.

Thanks for the info. Just order a painted one.... can always re-paint...............

i have a painted one as well, works great! Once the paint wore off, i repainted it hello kitty pink and white for the wife.

The painted ones are anodized under the paint (at least mine was) after soaking it in lacquer thinner for a day to get the paint off the finish under the paint was quite nice.

What about the serial #? Looks painted too! Doesn't look etched either.

no thats an anodized one. my painted one removed all paint, down to bare metal when i sprayed brake clean on it.

What about the serial #? Looks painted too! Doesn't look etched either.

the etched ones will not have stamped SN's, so if your does, it is painted.
