Just received my Zastava 308 Full Manlicher, blonde wood deep bluing, after trying a few new scopes, this Hilux seem to fit it like a glove, Redfield Mauser bases Millet low rings, the cheekrest ist just perfect, cant wait to shoot it, trigger is good, i've seen better (will see after 100 rounds, i will get better, it is breaking at 5 pounds), action is smooth and overall finish is very good, this is a good catch for 770.00... JP.

I ordered my 9.3 the same day as yours,but we are far west. so I can get my blonde next week after the holiday.

I am going to have a quick release ring as I plan to use iron sight to appreciate it.

And you will love the sights, they are of great quality, rear sight adjustable and very clear picture, should make of very fast target aquisition... JP.

I have some Zeiss QR rings that will fit Weaver bases. Nice addition to a rifle in this class.

You'll find that collecting fullstock rifles is a sickness you can tolerate!

I have a full stock Interarms mark X in 7X57 but mu wife hunts with it and I don't get to use it much.

I have my eye on a CZ full stock in 6.5X55 that I might just have to have.

There is something about nice wood........
 
Wow... that stock is atypical of Zastava... it must have been made on contract for Zastava by a specialized company?
Overall, a VERY pretty rifle indeed! Once you work in that action, it's hard to beat the Mauser design. Sheesh, now I want one!! I wonder if I could snag one just like that in 7x57 ??
 
After comparing with one of my Steyr Scout 308, i founded that the bolt was not as smooth, did one hour of hand-oil lapping on the bolt then give it a polish, it is now as smooth as any of my Steyr rifles... JP.

So how do these rifles shoot? Will they compare to any of the other bolt actions in the same price range? I've been thinking about a new rifle for hunting season and I have always like full stock rifles.
