New Savage to try the 100 and 200 yard challenge with!

i havnt reached out that far with it yet.

truth be told between work and the weather i havnt had a calm day at the range in months!

i did however go hit Cabela's in Edmonton and i picked up a couple boxes of each kind of .22 ammo, so that when i am finally able to make it out to the range on a CALM day i can try all the ammo to see what that monster 10/22 and this one prefer to eat.

by the looks of the long range forecast im due for about 2 weeks of blistering hot weather.
so fingers crossed that it will be calm and ill try to reach out and touch some long distance love..... on paper!

im very interested to see how this savage and my 10/22 shoot side by side.

im reallllllllllllly hoping that the my 10/22 beats it, haha, but thats just because it cost me 3x as much!

for those who arnt stalkers.....

i built a monster 10/22 this winter.
the entire gun is after market made.
i recently added it all up and im sitting about $1250 in in this gun, not including mags, haha

my dad had picked up that same gun in a 17HMR and i liked the look of it.
so i plopped the same stock number but with 22 instead of 17 into google and added + canada onto the search and it found one in Edmonton at P&D for me.
so i called, it was in stock and i ordered it.

i found out later that they are pretty hard to find.
so im counting myself lucky on that purchase!

Lets see some targets. There are some wonderful groups with the Kidd acc. There are some nice targets in the 50 yd 1/2 inch challenge here. Nice looking gun
