I have to say the KELTEC RFB is the best all round Non-restricted for most shooters....

Reasons being, it is a BullPop that is forward ejecting...308 meaning you can hunt legally across Canada, with the Tavor you can not Hunt legally with it in every province being a 223 only rifle, and the Keltec RFB would fit most Canadian shooter anatomically speaking very well..You can "run and gun" with it well and function well in regards to closed spaces, example cars,CQB etc...

I'm deciding on a Non-restricted rifle right now to purchase in the future, the SG 542 is in the running, would have loved the Swiss Arms Sapr though!

For 223 the Tavor has it hands down accept for price tag...

I liked the one you did a while back OP, but knowing where these things usually end up, do we really need to do this all again.

This being said, there is no "best" one. Each has pro's and con's.

My bias opinion of course goes to the Swiss Arms, and yes I say this knowing whats going on with them, sometimes more than I would like to know.

If not the Swiss rifles then, then the FAMAE SG540, because I can run it the same as I did my Swiss.

No I understand in many ways I agree with the Swiss arms being the best quality and of course with the most data behind it, that being said I need a firearm for my property I own and my family will be up there so I want a good bear gun and something that is multi-uses and I have come to determine that the KEL Tec RFB is best choice, even though myself I would like a traditional full scale Swiss Arms SAPR or 542 in 308. Eventually I plan on getting a Tavor as well.. I like having the ability of extending my arms and not being as tight in with a Bullpup sometimes...

Restricted Rifles for myself are at the bottom of priorities right now and I have a good Bolt Gun already...

Have to say Tavor. It's a battle proven weapon, non restricted, short in overall length with a full length barrel. Its ergonomic and versatile. I just convinced myself to buy one.
Does anyone know who has them in stock?

It's pretty obvious your account got hacked and it's really Blaxun who started this poll :pirate: ;)

I must be fair and point out Blaxsun probably would not have forgotten to put the ACR and T97 in the running amongst others I surely forgot about...lol

My Swissarms is my only rifle in this category. For quality, fit and function it would be impossible to beat. All this quality comes with a downside though; price and weight. This is a metal rifle. I see they make an adapter that would allow the use of AR (10 round) mags. :)

So many choices.......all of em! :D

Honestly though, I have only handled/shot/played with/sat up late at night holding the XCR. And until I get the opportunity and the money to contemplate handling/shooting/you get the idea with the others you have on the list, the XCR has my vote.

Would like to definitely check out the FNAR first though when the time comes.

Explain why though????

Philosophy of use etc, reasons if you can..

I prefer the longer gun in many ways for my long arms, the Tavor is the best all round for 223 but the compactness of the KELTEC RFB speaks volumes in 308..

I prefer my Swiss Arms Classic Green over my Tavor & my RFB. It is so comfortable to hold, it is deadly accurate, it just feels right.

With the Tavor I am having a hard time finding a comfortable shooting position. I think I need to extend the stock - I have long arms and it's just uncomfortable and does not feel right.

The RFB is a fantastic rifle. It does feel right and I can hold it comfortably. The accuracy isn't as good as the Classic Green.

So Swiss Arms - feels right and extremely accurate.
RFB - feels right but not as accurate.
Tavor - feels wrong and not as accurate.

To be fair you should really separate the poll as 223 rifles and 308 rifle. I would choose Tavor for 223 rifle and XCR-M for 308 rifle.

I agree that I should off. That being said state what you think is best and your reasoning. Include price practicality etc etc.

Thanks

Leiber.

I love my rfb, mine is 100% reliable and shoot 1.5-2 moe with cheap norinco. To me it's a winning combination ( TO ME) .

The problem I see with the rfb is this if for say swiss arms rifle may be 99% good rifle and 1% lemon well the rfb might be 90% good and 10% lemon so the one in ten owner affected are more then happy to voice there frustration. That video does not give the gun justice but it is what it is...I am happy with it and it is my go too gun for hunting.
