I trimmed out the bolt hold open on mine. They worked fine after that. Mine weren't tight in the mag well mine just wouldn't hold the bolt open on an empty mag.

I finally got around to taking my CAA mags to the range. I am very impressed, they worked flawlessly. They are way better than the Lars, which even after multiple mods, will not insert on a closed bolt and they are slightly easier to insert on a closed bolt than the Pmags - just a light tap on the bottom of the mag is required. The CAAs are my favourite mag by far.

Did anyone have issues using a "ambi" mag release? initial inspection on the mag was good however some issues getting it to "lock" in the magwell. I'm running a TROY ambi release.

So I have a STAG lower? anyone have any issues with that using the AT15 mag?

Not sure how little would have worked, I basically just trimmed it so it was squared off like a USGI mag. Only took about 30 seconds per mag with an Xacto knife. They work great going to pick up a dozen more. They work well in all my AR's and Tavor, they also are long enough so that they are usable in my chest rigs and fit all my Kydex mag holders too.

Imagine what you gun will look like with a 20 round P Mag in it, that is exactly how it will look with 1 of our AT15 Pistol mags inserted in the magwell.

I wouldn't cancel your order. Yes, there was a batch of some LAR mags that needed some filing to make them feed reliably, but for the most part they are pretty good. Either way, there is little risk of damaging your rifle. They will probably be fine.

I have one LAR mag. Works perfectly in my Norinco, DD and NEAs.
