Am I nuts thinking this would look cool on an AR?

Am I nuts thinking hydrographic reaper camo would look good on my AR build next?

just remember once you do it there is no changing the setup, otherwise you will end up with mismatched parts or finding your self going back to get pieces done to match. When it comes to selling the thing unless somebody have exact the same tastes, no one will see the extra value you put into it.
 
It looks like an Affliction shirt had ### with an AR, and it gave birth to the douchiest rifle on the planet.

If only you could find a way to get a Harley Davidson logo, and the image of a pitbull on there, it would completely embody everything about Surrey.

If that's the look you are going for...it's perfect.

You sir pulled the words right outta my mouth!
Its your rifle do what you want but fixing ugly can be a bit expensive when you wake up one day and look at it and think "what the hell did I do to my ar!"

Ummm. Really? We must have very different feelings about dog's vomit. I challenge this assertion. I will film myself looking at this picture for 1 min, and post it here. Kindly film yourself eating your dog's vomit and post it. Ideally, could we have a warm, dog to bowl to mouth shot, uncut? Otherwise, I am led to believe that your comment is simply hysterical hyperbole. Also, the term "raped" is a bit much, and would probably offend many.

I voted NO, but... i wouldnt do it (its your rifle though) secondly it would look better to leave stock, pistol grip and handguard(maybe) in black.

I like customized rifles... but I don't care for this particular pattern. Too busy, too Affliction as someone else stated. On the other hand, if you like it, rock it... just do it to a CHEAP AR, because you're never going to be able to sell it.
 
I wouldn't do that pattern, but if you like it give'er. If you do want to resell it some day just refinish it, or be prepared to take a loss and sell it for cheap so someone else can.
 
Maybe do less skulls so it's not as busy...

I'm planning to do a pattern similar to this, but maybe in burnt bronze/FDE or OD tones.
