In my opinion $1000 for any glock is way too much. More so for the compact and subcompact models. These were created to reduce "printing" while CCW. As we cannot CCW, I personally don't see the point of owning one. Especially with a protruding barrel. They do show up on the EE for around the $800 mark which is where I would value them (similar price to the full size models new).
Brordo beat me to it lol.
You could say similar things about the endless styles of 1911 or sig 226 guns. Too many options with zero net gain in performance. The compact and sin compact pistols are no more difficult to shoot than the full size. For the guy who always wanted a tiny pistol the 26/27 series is an option.

And that's why I said "in my opinion" and "personally" then gave "my opinion" on what they are worth.
My apologies as no attack was intended. Just a contrasting view. I agree that their value is not in the $1000 range especially used.

3 weeks no response from them to juss get a time frame so i have made up my mind, no way in hell am i buying from themI ordered mine from Questar at the beginning of February... Still not a trace if the thing. Add that to Questar's condescending approach to customer service, and it makes me wish I had bought a used one on the EE for $1000 six months ago. Some joker is trying to sell (a very used) one WITHOUT a barrel for $700 right now on the EE...
My question is this a true Glock 26 subcompact?
I understand there are not that many Glock 26's in Canada ... and being a subcompact they are NOT allowed into the country any more.
So I'm thinking they might be the G26 with a longer barrel?
What's an original subcompact worth with the short barrel?
