My Dear Wife has now gone 19 consecutive years without being drawn for anything.
I was drawn last year for a group hunt for Moose, prior to that nothing for 13 years and nothing again this year.

That sucks. I thought I was doing poorly with eight consecutive years for me .

What can you guys in BC hunt on a general tag. Can you go up north and hunt moose on a general licence? How about sheep ect.

What can you guys in BC hunt on a general tag.

Everything but Grizzly and Bison. Every other species has a general open season somewhere in the province each year.

The LEH tags aren't required to hunt but rather they are a little "bonus" that can save some travel time.

Nothing to be honest this was a crap LEH year for us we usually get multiple draws this year we only got the one draw.

Sweet.

Started hunting last year. First LEH application. Applied for Bison, Elk, Moose, and Mountain Goat. Won Bull Moose in 5-12 (October 15-31) and Mountain Goat 4-23 (Sep 10-Nov 30).... Now to book time off work!

Bull moose for me it will probably be the first year we won't see one when we are hunting Elk

Started 9 years ago and continue to get nothing for three different draws.
Now, some of the ratios are rather unfavourable.

Nothing for me this year. The wife's more dissapointed than me as she was looking forward to go. So I guess its just chasin open season game. Oh well. Next year maybe again. Congrats to those who were successful.

Got grizzly in 7-05 and bull moose group hunt in region 3

I just got my hunter number a few months ago. I drew a bull moose (but apparently we can get two because there are three of us who applied together) and then I drew an "antlerless mule (black-tailed) deer". I went to tell my boss but before I could say anything he asked me if I applied on the LEH because he just got a bull moose draw.

Apply somewhere that you either can't get to, or can't get a place to hunt. Should pretty much make it a sure thing!
