BC LEH Results Are In!

Sorry for the beginner question in advance...

I just got back to Vancouver from school out of country. I missed the draws. Can I still go hunting? I mean can I go buy a tag for an animal that's not LEH? And have at it?

Download and read the Hunting Regulations. LOTS of opportunities to hunt, without having to be in the Draws. The Draw is to get a chance at some of the extra opportunities that may be available, in areas where the Biologists have decided that the populations can withstand some hunting, but not at the rate that the population would face if there was a general season.

Pretty much 4 deer tags (one Mule,one White Tail, each ###) to start with, available over the counter. You have to pay close attention to the limits, as you can buy a lot more tags than you can legally shoot. The Provincial max you can shoot, is 3, in any combo of the available tags. Some Regions you are limited to 2 deer max. Read the regs!

If you hunt Hiada Gwaii (queen charlotte islandd) the limit is 15, with 5 in possession.
