Not sure what you're getting at with this comment? Honestly, it sounds elitist...
I really hope that all this ####storm will calm down soon
Liked all of my Swiss Arms, except for the weight.
Then you must just not like piston guns in general, because as far as weight is concerned the SAN rifles are very comparable to other piston guns of similar barrel length.
Actually, the base weight of the non-restricted Swiss Arms is around 9.3lbs with the top picatinny rail. And to make it a fair comparison, we really need to configure the Swiss Arms with a quad rail to give it comparable real estate. That pushes it to almost 11lbs - so it's definitely the pig out of the group.
There's also the potential issue of the 800-lb gorilla...
Adding the top rail and quad rail to make it heavier to fit your argument really makes no sense at all. The rifle alone weighs in at 8.6 lbs. You can't argue that. If I ad things to other guns they get heavier too, but a stock comparison is what I have drawn up, and the numbers don't lie, if your putting down then SAN rifles based upon weight, like many hear do, then you haven't done your research.
To the OP, she's a beautiful baby my friend, don't ever get rid of her.
We should be buying these up like hotcakes to make the RCMP's job more difficult....
There's also the exorbitant price tag, magazine compatibility (at the time)... Some of these come down to personal preference, and for me the Swiss Arms never did it. Still nice rifle OP.![]()
