You’d think I was new at this….

Got my new Norma brass for my 45-90.
Trimmed, cleaned, neck sized, loaded a few rounds and off to the range.
They wont chamber. ????

Came all the way home, still cant figure it out.. Time for supper.
Then it hit me.
Ran down stairs, put one case through the full length sizer.

Walla..... First loading must always be full length sized.

I didn't full length resize new 6.5X55 Lapua brass and they chambered nicely. I believe you, but I am not inclined toward buying new brass that needs to be resized before use.
For the record, I did try a couple of the new Lapua brass in my rifle before loading them... I do make silly mistakes like the next guy though.

I've been meaning to do a review of the RCBS chargemaster combination in regards to consistancy and setting out to do it today, I didn't calibrate the balance, got the numbers all backwards etc... so scratched it. Could have been a hundred round review... good thing a 6.5X55 is almost full with H4831 and H4350 powder...
