Yes, everyone who bought this combo DID pay $170 for the gun. Doesnt matter if you get the math or not, that IS what you paid. HOWEVER, the gun is WORTH FAR MORE THAN $170. It is for THIS reason the whole package is such a good deal.

Infact, it is the difference between what you pay and what the items in a package deal are worth that make buying a package deal worth while in the first place. This is the ONLY reason people buy package deals. The difference between what you PAID (Which is $170... its a fact... argue all you want, you just look silly) and what its worth ($250 minimum... but ive seen them sell for as much as $290) IS the deal.

Like plinker said... NO you cant have mine for $170. Because its worth more than that and im AM smart enough to buy great deals like this and too smart to loose a dime if I buy a package deal with the intention to make a few $$'s

OK, enough of that crap, It's a good deal, now lets get back to folks showing us videos and pics of what they have done with their weighty gems!It will be another 3 days before I get to finally clean mine up and scramble to the range for a day of fun!

Luv the delusional argument stating I paid $170 for the Gun but won't sell it for that price cause it is worth more.

Doesn't matter what the math is IS the uneducated answer to all numbers game.

One plays $170 for the pistol ONLY after all the effort to sell the ammo at a certain price. The cost to selling ammo HAS to be included in the pistol price.

At least every seems to agree the gun is worth way more than $170.

Only way to argue you paid $170 is by placing zero value on effort to sell the ammo. Using that silly math you could offer to help CanAm warehouse for a week and they give you the gun for free; yeah you can get the gun for FREE, NUFF SAIDf:P:
 
Wow!! While you guys were discussing high finance I was at the range shooting my cheap gun and ammo or is it the other way around??? So stock grips, extended mag release and 6 Norc mags. 2 new and 4 well used. 200 rds.with only 1 tap and rack! Every round went boom and every spent case ejected away from the gun. No damaged empties. My old Norc on last round will not always throw last empty and will damage case and somtimes lock. That gun has a Colt extractor. All mags by the time I was done mostly dropped free. For me accuarcy is about the same as my other Norc and my Kimber?? Gun functions well and locked back on last shot every time. After a good initial cleaning I used the hot and wet gun break in method. I shot till my mags were empty then used Rem-Oil to spray down then wipe down. I think I got a good one?? I've got 2 sets of rosewood checkered diamond grips coming from Marstar so I will have matching guns. I'll be putting a hillbilly front flourescent sight on it also! ( flourescent nail polish)

Just finished up with a quick two-tone job. Really happy with how it turned out - when the grips arrive I think it will really shine!

OH!! OH!!! Gun Broke!!!! The ejector front hold down pin has sheared off. Is that held in by the small drift pin??? And the back one has no drift pin??? Where , What and How?? Can I get a replacement?? Does Canada Ammo have parts??? Or is Western Gun Parts my best bet????

Why don't you contact Canam they said you can return if not happy .

Laugh2 You still don't get it, OMG!!! The gun is $170 with the deal of a 1000rds. You don't have to sell any ammo to reduce the cost of the gun...IT IS INCORPORATED INTO THE DEAL!!! Does someone have to help you with your shoes every morning!?

I believe the Norinco barrels are hard chromed. You're going to spend a LOT of time trying to get them any more shiny than they already are...

As far as the 'gun is worth $170' debate goes... These guns are worth $349 by themselves, cause that's what the retail vendors are selling them for [more or less...Marstar has slightly different deals in place right now]. If I didn't think I could get at least $300 for a NIB unfired gun, I wouldn't sell it.

Well i guess all the guys that didn't receive their gun within a week, or didn't get an email from CA 5 mins after placing their orders have nothing to complain about anymore. So now they are fighting about how much the gun is compared to the ammo or vice versa!
What next the great debate of what came first, the chicken or the egg??
Can we move on already?

6 June received 1911's,
Both of them had cracked/broken Right grips, one at the upper screw one at the lower screw.
informed them on the 6 June, they said they would send new black grips ...no grips yet 22 June
I have had no problems in the past ...this order is P***ing ME OFF!!!

God man,, grips are $10- $15 ,, are you seriously #####in about something everybody said was cracked?? You should send em back, your standards are too high for this forum!! I'm waiting for #5& 6,, could give a $hit if they came without grips,,,,,,,,,,,

Yup. Definitely HARD chromed! At first I was of the opinion that only the bores were chromed, but it seems to cover the entire unit. Too bad it's just a

little "fuzzy..." ;) With the right abrasives and some time and patience, I'll "purty up" these gems in the rough! Does anyone here have any experience

with DIY Cerakote? I'd really like to try applying this finish on one. Any plans I have so far are purely cosmetic; except for a seized barrel bushing on one,

I have no issues with fit, function, or any of the controls. Don't need anything extended! LOL

so finally both my combos arrive tomorrow,,, all good; I did not complain once!!!
I like to post some pictures on the before and after of my 2 1911's
Im gonna Reblue one and the other is getting satin nickel platted with some parts reblued and some nice grips for both ,,that should keep me busy for a while,,cheers
